Co-Director, Caltech Project for Effective Teaching (CPET)
Kimberly is a second-year PhD student in Mathematics working under the supervision of Dr. Omer Tamuz. Her research is in group dynamics and random walks, and she has previously worked on problems within quantum information theory. Kimberly has served as a TA for several undergraduate mathematics courses and is a co-author on a teaching and learning resource for educators of pure mathematics courses. In her role as CPET Co-Director, Kimberly hopes to assist graduate students and post-docs in making teaching less intimidating, more equitable, and more effective through the mutual sharing of knowledge and experience within an inclusive community.
